If you’re new here, Hi, I’m Bree! I’m a trauma-informed, certified Somatic Practitioner (ISTP) specializing in Spinal Energetics™, Soma+IQ™ Breathwork, nervous system regulation, and restorative yoga and energy techniques. And, today had me reflecting on some major milestones, (that some of you may relate to) and I am beginning to recognize just how long of a road a path to healing can take - but also how rewarding it is to see where this winding unknown road leads.

While I’ve been an entrepreneur for many years, it wasn’t until beginning my path into becoming a Somatic Practitioner in 2023 that things began to shift. The healing that I was looking to help others with, became my own healing - as it usually does. Leading to connections, mentors and the ability to see what was possible, not only the fear, trauma, pain, impossibility, lack of self worth, self isolation and criticism.

It has now been a year since becoming a Soma+IQ and Spinal Energetics Practitioner and it finally feels like I have found my true passion, and the way in which I can help others move through the things that hold them back. Whether that is from their own physical or emotional pain, their own inner critic or maybe just experiences that their nervous system hasn’t had a safe space to express yet.

We allow people and experiences into our world based on what our nervous system deems as familiar. But, what if familiar is no longer in alignment with what we want? What if what we consciously want is SO much bigger and better than what we have known in the past?

What if we can love deeper, feel safe to be seen and heard, feel confident in ourselves and our own value - and at peace within our own body? It is possible my friend, we must only believe that that freedom is possible with a decision to meet it and give it the love is seeking. That there is peace in being totally, completely, uncensored, wildly, weirdly, uniquely - you.

It will heal a cut, digest your food, keep your heart beating and yes, it knows how to release pain, tension, stored emotions and trauma. However, our human brains have evolved, and we often forget that we are a biological being first - meaning our nervous system (the electrical system) also has ancient and primal memory. It also knows how to release when the parasympathetic state is activated - the rest and digest state. This state requires safety and non-judgement.
