What is Spinal Energetics?Developed by Dr. Sarah Jane, a Chiropractor and Counselor, Spinal Energetics is a unique practice that blends Eastern and Western wisdom. It focuses on the interconnectedness of your spine, nervous system, and energy field. This approach aims to awaken your inner wisdom, empowering you to heal and thrive. We are more than just our physical bodies. Each of us possesses a unique energy field that encompasses our physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and soul aspects. This energy is influenced by our ancestry, experiences, and even our character. Spinal Energetics acknowledges that energy can become imbalanced, leading to disharmony. Our goal is to guide you towards a state of homeostasis, a natural balance that promotes overall well-being. We believe this state of balance is your birthright. Through gentle touch, or sometimes no touch at all, a natural process of movement and sound unfolds. This process helps to unwind tension, release stored emotions, and uncover stories held within your body. The movements and sounds are unique to each individual, guided by your own energy, intuition, and instincts. Spinal Energetics is not about imposing a solution. It's a collaborative journey where we support you in cultivating deep self-awareness. This awareness empowers you to soften or strengthen patterns that may be hindering your well-being. Spinal Energetics is informed by a variety of modalities, including Network Spinal, Alpha Alignment, Shamanism, and more. It also draws inspiration from philosophies like Buddhism, Hinduism, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This rich blend of influences creates a holistic approach to healing. How does an online session work?In an online session, the practitioner tunes into the client's energetic field remotely. Energy healing is not bound by physical proximity because it operates on the principles of quantum physics, which suggest that energy is not limited by time or space. During an online Spinal Energetics session, the client is guided through movements and breathwork while the practitioner observes and supports the process. The practitioner works with the body’s subtle energies by focusing on areas of tension or stagnation in the spine, helping the client to release emotional, physical, and energetic blockages. The body and energy field respond to the practitioner’s guidance, enabling healing to occur much like in-person sessions, with clients reporting similar benefits such as relaxation, emotional release, and alignment.
-
Does everybody 'move' during a session? Each person’s response to the treatment is very unique. Some people move a little, others move a lot during their first session. Some people take months or years; other’s never ‘move’ at all. * It is important to note, that the amount of movement does not directly correlate to the amount of depth or benefits a person may receive during a session.
-
Is one session enough? We recommend committing to at least 3 sessions, to begin with. This will give you a chance to adapt to the treatment, and for the treatments to be of the most benefit and value to your well-being.
-
Can I do a session if I'm pregnant? We do not offer sessions to those in their first or final trimester. During your second trimester, we recommend only booking with a practitioner that is also a Chiropractor.
